Sent money, no work, 3 years they have not reimbursed me my money, they are very difficult to contact ripoff

I was a graduate student wanting to work part time to earn some extra money. This seemed perfect because it was a company located in London and not some far-away city or country. After one year there was no work. I was able to contact them on the phone, once, and asked them when work would be available. They were slightly rude and said that there was work available at that time.
March I wrote a letter, sent them my membership card (photo-copied both) and I have been waiting for a refund since then.

Unfortunately, I have learned my lesson the hard way!
