On four occassions having terminated my account with NTL in favour of BT some months ago, they promissed to delete my old NTL webpage (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/allen.brent/) for which I cancelled my contract with them. The latest was an emergency promise to remove this within five days. It is urgent because my current funded British Academy projects are reported on my new, excellent BT site and not on my obsolete NTLworld one, causing confusion. Also I have been requested to remove one image which I am anxious to do. Is this some kind of unprofessional retaliation against me for having found a far superior supplier. It seems I have grounds for the Ombudsman here: this would be unfair market practice.
