ENI and AGIP Petroleum UK
Internet Scam

I received an email from Mr. John Evens, Jr. at [email protected] saying that I had won 750, 000 GBP in a drawing to be paid by ENI and AGIP Petroleum Co. and that I should call or email Mr. Adam Wilson, International Account Oficer at Credit-Suisse Bank, in London to make arrangements for payment and transfer of the funds to me. Mr. Wilson's telephone number and email address are (44) 7035-9659-24 at [email protected]. I looked up the Credit-Suisse Bank website on Google and made contact with their security department. I asked to speak to Mr. Adam Wilson, and I was told that there was no Adam Wilson working for Credit-Suisse at their One Cabot Square London E14 4QJ location. I then called the number that I had been given for Mr. Wilson in the email, and the phone was answered by a man with a thick African accent who claimed to be Mr. Wilson even though it was after business hours for Credit-Suisse Bank. After hanging up, I called the number I had been given in the email for Mr. John Evens, Jr. at ENI and AGIP Petroleum Co., and it was answered by the same man with the thick African accent. I believe that this scam is being run by West African scam artists in the UK such as those run by Nigerians who are notorious for these type of scams.
