Recently I have met with one Mr Mark Evans who at the time was representing a company known as Coupland Bell Ltd who can be found at www.couplandbell.com
At that meeting it was agreed that confidentiality was paramount to what we were going to discuss, and ultimately we were going to be providing some extremely confidential information and material to which was expected to go no further.
The information related to what is commonly termed as 'Reverse Engineering' and is the normal and recognized way of doing things in 2007.
After that meeting, Mr Mark Evans took it upon himself to make contact with all of our competitors and private contacts in order to offer to them the information to which he had acquired at that said meeting.
I was contacted by several people who all testified that Mr Evans had in fact called them to offer information, to which it had took our business and team some five (5) years to collate.
I contacted Mr Mark Evans by telephone at Coupland Bell where I asked him why had he contacted all of our competitors and service providers with such vengeance. Mr Mark Evans duly replied as expected with a complete denial of the whole incident.
When I once again asked him 'WHY', he again denied it all. So eventually I mentioned the e-mailed confirmation he had contacted service providers, and then he said 'Oh Them'. Ah, well I did contact them, but only them. So I mentioned others to which he also said, ah well, er yes I suppose I did contact them. I demanded a retraction by e-mail to all who Mr Mark Evans had contacted, and a copy of that e-mail is in my possession. I would say here and now, if you have any dealings with Mr Mark Evans or Coupland Bell, don't expect any of your business to be either private or confidential. Worse still, expect and ask yourself why Mr Evans called all of our contacts and service providers. It sure wasn't for charity... Normally these things are for personal and financial gain.
In the process of dealing with Mr Mark Evans, he also spent a great deal of his time and effort in suggesting to some of the people he spoke to that my own integrity was less than honorable, and that we were in fact steeling someone else's idea. However, Mr Mark Evans through his incompetent and lazy nature had failed to do a basic check. It was in fact our Trade Mark and our Copy write on the idea. Mr Evans assumed that he was the ultimate Judge and Jury and decided to proportion blame by using his own wisdom. 'I NOW QUESTION HIS WISDOM' if any at all.
Watch out for Mr Mark Evans and Coupland Bell to whom he pro ports to represent. He lures you in with his 'Good Christian' act and I'm honest so you can trust me. My advice is if ever anyone suggests the word 'TRUST'. Its already time to leave, as trust is gained through experience and not demanded upon first meeting.
My advice for what it's worth is simple. Mr Mark Evans is a lair, a con Man and a crook. He does not deserve the right to conduct business with honest people and for all his efforts, 'I would never wish to encounter Coupland Bell again'. No matter who represents them.
I will end this by saying quite simple that the machine to which Mr Mark Evans was selling the concept upon with such boring methods, looked like something from Wacky Races and was designed by the one and only Professor Pat Penning from the very same show.
He assures us that he has firm orders for this product in El Salvador or San Salvador, and is doing it all for Christian Aid Workers their. I feel that Mr Mark Evans is looking for a Fat Government Grant to which he will off load his junk product in exchange for such grant, and then run with the proceeds. It's my own opinion, but one that sits favorably with such a disrespectful, lying con man as he quite clearly is.
I hope this posting creates so many problems for Coupland Bell and especially Mr Mark Evans that he falls flat on his face and never manages to recover from the pain.
