Bought a car from Apple Car Sales (Tom Howard Salesman Owner) responding to ad in the Auto Trader.
The ad read as follows. Volvo V70 2.4 140 5DR Black Leather manual petrol 2000 X Reg 78, 000 miles
White, 2 owners FULL SERVICE HISTORY STUNNING CONDITION...£2449
Paid £2995. Car broke down on the same day. Car immobilizes itself after about 7 trips. Took it back;
Tom Howard said it was all done. Broke down again. Took car to Volvo for diagnostics. CEM unit
needs changing plus soft ware upload. Clutch worn, Power steering bottle broken internally, suspension
arms need replacing, cam belt not changed as told it was, when the car was purchased. Car only has one key.
Car does not have FULL SER VICE HISTORY. Service history stopped 17/05
The odometer cannot be read. Bulb not working. (The only one on the dash panel not working) Was sold as 78, 000 miles. Last MOT Oct the reading was 78404.
