Almost three weeks ago, I ordered an item from Amazon.co.uk and they promised me the item would be with me by December 4th. I gave my card details as requested, and in due course over 120 was taken from my account. On December 5th I received an item valued at 4.99p with an invoice stating that the enclosed item was the one I had ordered and showing the debit to my card of the 120 .

Now the fun begins. As there is no way of contacting Amazon by telephone, I had to use e-mails. The first attempt resulted in an automated text reply stating that I should write to the company enclosing any retuned items by Recorded Delivery - AT MY EXPENCE! Clearly this was not acceptable and I had no faith in their delivery and returns system, based upon their current performance.

Since then I have sent no less than 14 (fourteen) e-mails, some of which have received the same automated answer, two of which were answered by 'real people' but none of them have suggested when I would get my item or a credit to my card. I am completely disolusioned with Amazon and will NEVER ever buy from them again. This case will obviously end in litigation unless they credit my card, of deliver the fgoods.BY WARNED.
