The Company has disappeared

Hi,

Last February A Rep from MLP Media took my details and part payment for advertising in our local doctors appointment cards "The Limes Medical Centre" Epping.

In all they took £240 and said the proofs will take six weeks. I have got receipts. They did send me copies of the add to alter, so I thought they were ligitamat. It is now January and nothing has happened. I tried to look up their website and they have gone, plus I sent an email, it was returned. Having look on the Internet I can see that many people have been scammed by this company. I don't know what to do next, can you help me please?
