Overcharging rip offs, over debits

I rented a vehicle from budget rentals / avis I was quoted? 140 odd for the first few days and? 120 for the rental extension. These amounts were originally taken from my account, after returning the car witha full tank I was surprised to find that a week later the charges were reversed and a new amount of almost? 700 pounds was taken from my account! Three times the agreed and authorised amount! This has overdrawn my account and ruined my credit, despite numerous emails and calls to avis they refuse to address this issue. DO NOT RENT CARS FROM avis! DO NOT give them your credit card details they ***** money from your directly from your account and there will be no way for you to recover it!
