Hosting suspended and then charged to reinstaste without a contract or any warning of their prosedures

I have been dealing with this company (Responseo) for around 4 years, they have just started as this new company, prior to this they were Lasssany web design. I received an invoice on the 3rd of September for 50.00 GBP for 1 years web hosting, this was 100% more than the previous year, I replied back to them asking why the price rise and could they break down their costs as they also stated that this was not inclusive of my mail service.

I had a reply with no details of pricing, hadn't heard anything else from them, so today 21st of September my email stopped working, I contacted them and was told it had been suspended due not receiving payment and that to un-suspend my account I would have to pay another 100.00GBP charge on top of the 50.00 annual service fee to put it back on as per contract.

I have never received a contract from this company and have feel I've been muscled into paying these fees or have no web hosting / email service, I still have to wait 24hrs to get my email service back.

This company has always behaved in an unprofessional manner and I would like to get advise on the best way of dealing with this bullying behaviour.
