Tissot
Expensive battery

I have a Tissot Touch and after a number of years it needed a new battery so I sent it to the service centre in UK, all it needed was a new battery but they quoted £102 including postage back, this is for changing the battery and a service. I agreed because this is not a cheap watch. It came back and the battery worked for about 3 months!!! I managed to open the watch myself and change the battery, £1.99 for 5 from Ebay, took me about 10 minutes to do it. My conclusion, Tissot service in Uk is a scam centre. I will go for cheaper watches like Casio next time. Don't buy Tissot watches.
