My wife received a letter in the mail advising her to contact Mr. Steve Hill, the Foreign operations manager with the Mississippi Finance and Securities S.A. She was told to call him for the remittance of her winning prize money.

The amount was an astonishing 4, 800, 000.00 (US) which is to be shared between thirty one winners.

The document appeared to be 'official', however, the small print in the background read, "El Mundo Spanish Sweepstakes Lottery Company". I searched the internet for this company and it appeared at the top of a known fradulent company list.

We did not respond, however, I am sure that someone more gullible did and will soon be sending them some small amount of money to clain their so-called "prize".
