DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! HE'S A CON MAN!!!

I hired Revive Promotions for my little girls birthday party. I paid £300 for an entertainer to do face painting, glitter tattoos, games with prizes supplied and a disco. What I got was one girl who had to do all of this in the space of 3 hours. What I didn't get was an entertainer, I got a DJ who used her phone for the music while having to do face painting. The average price for a DJ is around £150- £180 and the girl who arrived would have been worth it if I had only been charged the average price. Revive Promotions out sourced this lady and only paid her the average price. So Paul (if that's even his name) pocketed nearly half of the money for just sending a text message asking her to do the job.
When I called up the next day to complain about the price I was charged was not wort the service I received, I was told three lies in the one call (what he didn't know was that I had already spoken to the lady who had done the party so I knew the facts of the situation). He told me he had to pay her £295 LIE! He told me he used her 1-2 times a week LIE!! He also told me that she wasn't in so he couldn't get in touch with her LIE!!! I had already spoken to her that day. When I challenged him about the amount that he had to pay her he said " you don't work here so you don't know what I pay her". After his initial defensiveness he seemed to be concerned and said he would make a few calls and get to the bottom of it (classic confidence trickster move) he said he would call me back the next day (yeah right!!)
I spoke to the lady again and she told me he had been in touch later that day but all he was concerned about was getting his money. He even went as far as searching for her address online and going round her house to grab his ill-gotten gains. She was on her own so felt intimidated by him and had to give him the money. He has not answered any of my calls since. So if you want to get ripped off use Revive Promotions, if you want a good party for the right price STAY AWAY!!
