M, Haven't done anything but sent TWO of these letters saying I won some lottery that I know nothing about

Est describes it, I was surprised it wasn't on this web site. My copy contains Fanguard Services / Eric Williams / described address & phone number I mentioned.
My wife received two of these letters from the same place in three days. This is one of those "... you won the lottery held in Austrailia for $150, 000..." Next tip off, "... further to our letter dated Nov 5th", this letter is dated Dec 1, AND the illustrious "... you have 3weeks (yes, 3weeks is actually typed this way) to claim this prize". Isn't November 5th and Dec 1st more than 3 weeks apart? Shouldn't the matter be closed then?
Not sure if this is also a tip off, but the word check is spelled "check" and "cheque" in the same letter and the word dispatch is spelled "despatch".
