I received a letter from applegate sweepstakes prize inc., I called them .they asked me for my address and information on me to send me a check.
Aupon getting the letter there was a check inside for $4.850, 00 in the letter it stated for me to call this # 01144-798-1701 whick is in the UK.
and he said to deposit the check in to my bank account and that it would clear in a few day, s and to call him back so he could give me the western union number
to send the payment for UK taxes and then they would send the balance of $45, 150.00 to me.
He also told me that when he sent it that they would contact IRS in the U.S.A. to pay taxes here.
the check was a Bank of America so I went to a branck near me to cash it they said it was a counterfit so I reported it here on ukconsumercomplaints.com
