Sent email claiming win of 500, 000 Pounds. Then asked for $978.35 to have winnings sent to me. Liverpool

I received an email notifying me that I had won 500, 000 Pounds and that I had to send info to them to claim it. A followup email asked for me to send them $978.35 to release the funds to me.
Thanks to your site making me aware of ripoffs, I didn't fall for it.
