Lack of asparagus

Dear sirs

I'm sorry I have found it necessary to contact you, but trust you will understand why I have decided to do so.

My elderly parents purchase your pies on a regular basis, as do I.

Approximately 5 weeks ago they purchased 2 chicken and asparagus pies from Sainsburys in Leeds.

However, during dinner, my mother was very disappointed to find that her pie had very little asparagus. Whilst this naturally
ruined what should have been an enjoyable meal, she just accepted that errors do occur.

Several days later my mum prepared dinner and my father had the other pie. He was alarmed to find that this pie also had very little asparagus. Admittedly more than the last, but certainly not an adequate amount. Another meal fell short of expectations.

My parents don't complain and are very easy going which is why I was quite shocked when they told me they had written to complain. They enclosed the packaging with their letter.

It's been almost a month now and they haven't received as much as an acknowledgement from your customer service department. I find this totally unacceptable, which is why I intervened. I myself am a very busy working single parent and have taken the time to email you to bring this matter to your attention.

I was contemplating contacting the CEO directly to alert him to the quality of your products but feel I will offer you the opportunity to investigate our concerns and provide an adequate response.
