Samsung galaxy s3
Vendor Requiring Copies of Personal Docs

Electronics and household app.

I placed an order for Samsung Galaxy S3 (New) with http://www.simplyelectronics.net/ via their online system using my credit card which went through. Then instead of receiving the goods I received email from their Customer Service Executive (leslie@simplyelectronics.net.) who required providing copy of my docs such utility bills or copy of Photographic ID in the form of a passport or driving license which seemed bit odd given the fact that transaction was authenticated by the moneybookers.com already and by my own credit card company. I spoke with my credit card issuing authority who strictly prohibited me from providing any such copies. I responded back to the Customer Service Executive at SimplyElectronics that I won't provide the copies & explained the situation & said either cancel the order & process the refund or supply me the goods. I also tried contacting her on the number given in her email (0203 393 82 58) which on getting connected played a message something like you are in queue with waiting time under 1 minute. But that one minute prolonged to few minutes & nobody came on phone except music being played!!! I guessed that they are scam or non-serious business. But don't know where to go and found this site and hence submitting this complaint. Hope an appropriate action would be taken. Thanks
