Failing to provide details

Had an collision with a vehicle owned by Elsinore Garage on 11/9 and when i spoke to the "man on the desk" he said that he had knowledge of the collision as his worker had called him but he did not have the insurance to hand. I have called back every day since and involved the police but they now say the vehicle was not owned by them, i would not touch this company with a barge pole, everything that is written about them over the net is appearing to be true!!! Wasters!!
