Closing Times/ Staff Attitude

I am very dissapointed after going to my local garage at 10.38pm on 16/8 to find all the pumps lights turned off. I went to the garage shop to find the lady hoovering up. I asked her if i could put petrol in to which she said "she'd cashed up and had closed". I had a coversation about the closing times clearly stating 11.00pm closure. I asked the lady if i could have a managers contact number or complaints form as it was No where near 11pm and this being misleading to the customers. To which the lady let me into the garage shop. In my opionion i was calm, polite and clearly just reinstating that the times were misleading. The reply I got from the lady was "I have 10minutes to do the closing down" to which i replyd "It was not even 10.45 and that she should take it up with her manager and not complain about her job to me and sugestegd she could ask for the closing times to be changed". The lady then turned very agressive and loud and said to me "I can tell you are one of those people that complain about everything" she said her name was "Debbie" and that she would Not give me the complaints number and that i can find it out my self. I have never wrote a complaint to a company before and came away very upset by the confrontation that was clearly not needed. I then had to drive to another garage in the next town (BP Blurton), to which i arrived at 10.46 clearly showing that i had plenty of time before it was 11pm.

This is not the first time that i have turned up before 11pm to find staff waving me off the forcourt but in the past i have turned up between 10.45pm- to 10.55pm, so have not had a problem as i understand myself working in a school nursery you need time to close down after the stated closing time. The time i arrived today was very much before the stated closing time and has caused me great upset at the unprofesionalism of the staff member.

I would appretite this looking into as The Trentham garage is my local garage with the next being Blurton garage, which is afurther 3miles or more away. I have used the Trenham BP garage to purchaise stock from avery young age and petrol for the past 6years. My family and partners family are all Trentham home-ownners and also use the gas station as do friends in the town.
