Overbooked flight

Arrived with two young children at Cardiff airport for first family holiday, only to be told the flight had been overbooked and that that we could not travel to our holiday destination. Little to no support or offer of assistance from the airline - entire holiday ruined as we were offered no alternative - no other flight for 3 days and no assurance of seats on flight back!! Still can't claim from them or complain about them as the email system for lodging claims and getting deserved compensation is DOWN - has been for over 2 weeks with clue as to when it will be back online
