I had received a recruitment offer letter in the head of eastern oil company few days back. the mail was sent from their own domain easternoilcompany.com

On searching the google I had found their web site (www.easternoilcompany.com- this is not

working now) and since the same was published under their "opportunities" option I

believed the offer to be a legitimate one, I responded to their mail the next day itself I

received an application form to be downloaded and filled in by hand and returned within 2 working days. I did so and I received a questionnaire saying that they were in short of time for a personal interview and I had to answer 10 questions and send the same as soon as possible. I was declared successful on responding to this and I received a contract agreement letter in which I had to agree and send back the same with the copies of my qualifying certificates etc. The postal address of this company was US. On searching the net I found that the same address belonged to Easter Petroleum Corporation in Maryland US and the contact page had the names of the same recruiting personalities. Since the company names were different I took the help of my relative in US to find out whether this is real or not. To my dismay (or luck) I got a reply that this company has nothing to do with the eastern oil company or its recruitment. Meanwhile I received an appointment letter to join in September in UK. For this I had to contact mr William Smith in British Deputy High Commission Mumbai.

I am sure I will be asked to pay the chain series of money to this person in some account numbers they provide.

The same culprits who had been cheating many under fake recruitments in UK Hotels now has come up with their own web site of Oil companies and company which really do not exist at all. Many might have fallen into their trap and lost their money though I havenot reached till there I request the authorities to find out the culprits at least from the details provided.
