Do Not EVER Work for Argos!!

I would like to make a complaint about argos as an employee.

I worked for Argos in my home town for Barnsley until 26th Feb.

they told me on 19th Feb that my contract will be up as they are not making enough money to keep me on which is fair enough but we are in a recession i have already been on job seekers once as a result of financial pressure, i have a family to support and i am a very good worker but they told me on the Friday and my 21st birthday was on the Monday so i had already booked Monday to Wednesday off with Thursday been my Non-Working Day so all i had to work was the Saturday after and the following Friday. But as i was so devastaed my manager told me that i needent come in on those days (and i knew after that it was a stupid mistake becuase i knew deep down this would happen)

as the cut off date for the payroll to be processed was between the 12th and the 18th not exactly sure of the date, i thought that i would be getting paid today as pay day is actually on Sunday. But NOOOO they have told me that i am not entitled to anything as i worked to the end of Feb so i got paid ot the end of Feb which is not ture as i have just phoned them now and they have said that the cut of date is correct which means that i am entitled to something although it won't be a lot (i worked it out at approx. £150 not including the over time that i did). Even after they told me i would be leaving i am supposed to work 8 am till 11 am but i satyed until 2pm to make sure that everything was at a leaving point and everyone knew what needed to be done and what was already done etc. and they are still not admitting that they owe me something.

IF ANYONE HAS ANY ADVICE OR WHO ELSE I CAN COMPLAIN TO E.G. A PROPER BOARD TO GET THE MONEY THAT I HAVE WORKED FOR AND WAS COUNTING ON AS I HAVE BORROWED IT OFF PEOPLE AS I WAS EXPECTING TO. I HAVE FAMILY TO FEED AND A HOUSE TO RUN AND I HAVE NO MONEY AND NO WHERE IS WANTING STAFF AT THE MOMENT AROUND MY TOWN.

THIS IS COMPLETLEY DISGUSTING -

DO NOT WORK FOR ARGOS, THEY ARE ROBBIN ME OF MY MONEY AND DO NOT GIVE ONE MONEY ABOUT IT. I HOPE THE STORE SHUTS DOWN, ITS CHEAP TAT ANYWAY
