Tricked into a long-term contract by complete lies

A few months ago I was persuaded to sign up for six months advertising with the promise of a minimum no. of hits and conversions. It quickly became apparent that neither was happening. I always ask where callers get our number from and not one person called through Qype, our clickthrough statistics were just as dead. Towards the end of the contract, I called to give notice of cancellation where I was again 'persuaded' (ie when I kept saying no, my decision wasn't respected). Instead, I was told I could upgrade to Premium for an extra £x each month and I'd get a lot more coverage. Plus it was the only way I could cancel the previous contract which he had informed me was twelve months - but now I know it's only for six months and I could have cancelled at any time. So I reluctantly agreed to upgrading just for one month as I was assured ths was not a contract, just a month to month rolling agreement. I was told to stay on the phone until the email came through, and then click on the link in the email so he could get building my advertising. I didn't know that the link I clicked on wasn't a month to month rolling agreement but a six month contract - which I'm now locked into.
I really can't afford to pay for Qype - or any other advertising for another five months as there is no business coming in from the advertising we've been tricked into paying for. We have a small new business and have no money coming in. I was really hoping I could get this rectified as soon as possible because it seems at this point in time, bankruptcy will be our only option in a couple of months time, thanks to Qype's sales team for misleading us so badly and so blatantly.
