Unauthorised charge

On 26th September I ordered a TRIAL of Acai Max capsules.By 4th October I hadn't received them, so tried to contact the company, both by email and telephone, to no avail. The goods arrived on 5th October, postmarked 4th October. On 6th October I tried to telephone to cancel any further orders, but could not get through. On 7th I telephoned to cancel and managed to speak to someone - in America. They told me I was outside their ten day trial time. As I had only received the goods two days before how could I be outside their trial time? They informed me I would be charged a further £54.85. I said, no. I was told to cancel the order, which I did and have confirmation, by email. I now find that on 7th October they charged me £54.85. I am unable to obtain a refund, even though I spend half an hour on 11th October on the telephone and have had no further goods, nor do I want any further goods.
