Untrustworthy Breeder

Would strongly advise against anybody buying a puppy from Vonziu German Shepherds. Our experience has been both traumatic and expensive. We purchased a puppy from them in 2019. Alarm bells should of been ringing straight away. The puppy was handed to us in a box on the doorstep. We were not invited in. Although we saw the 'parents' outside, we have serious concerns if they were the parents. As soon as we got the puppy home, we had issues. He had constant diarrhoea. After going to the vets several times and following their protocol, they told us the problem could well be generic or a problem from birth. It got very serious and the dog's health has deteriorated majorly. We tried to go back to the above mentioned breeder to see if we could reach some common ground, but they simply didn't want to know. It was as if buying a car where you purchase as seen. Very concerning considering they call themselves reputable breeders. We are experienced German Shepherd owners and I can honestly say there's something very suspicious about the whole set-up. The very sick puppy is now up to us to put right - most probably at huge expense. We fully appreciate that some puppies can become ill. The biggest concern from these is they simply couldn't care less. I now feel with all good conscience I need to warn others before they make the same mistake as us. If you look on their website, don't be fooled by the big house - you won't get in the front door. It's nothing more than a puppy farm. The biggest disappointment is they don't have anywhere on their website where you can leave a review. It's probably because others have similar experiences.
