We booked for 12 people to stay at The Hatton Hotel, Blackpool to celebrate one of the party's birthday.

We paid a deposit £180 and were told that they would need full payment.

When we rang to pay the remainder of the balance the hotel cancelled our booking and would not refund our deposit via card payment and said they would send a cheque. 10 days later when the cheque arrived they had deducted £25 for admin charges.

When I rang to discuss this, the manager claimed I had cancelled the booking. This was not true. This hotel has stolen my money. Has anyone else experienced this behaviour?

The only change I made to the booking was that originally there were 6 men and 6 ladies and this changed to 7 men and 5 ladies.

The manager does not listen and completely twists what he hears!
