TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE REGARDING COMPENSATION

Terrible Customer Service. Had lodged a complaint with British Airways regarding flight from Sydney to Rome. I need a walking stick. Gave my Itinerary to the British Airways check in. My bags were only booked to London Heathrow. After disembarking at London I had to retrieve my luggage. Had to clear customs and re-enter. missed my connecting flight. Was rebooked onto another flight. Was given a 5 pound voucuher. After complaining, I was offered high life shop vouchers which were of no use to me. Then, in place of that, an evoucher. I had saved for 10 years to make my trip a reality I am not in a position to utilise these vouchers, and I would not fly with British Airways again. After declining, I did not receive any correspondence until I contacted them some 7 weeks later. So my patronage to their airline means absolutely nothing to them. I have friends who are flying internationally this year, I will be strongly persuading them not to fly with BA. If it were not for their inept staff, my baggage would have been checked to Rome and I would not have missed my connecting flight. This company has no regard for their passengers, the people who pay their wages.
