We have moved to Lanzarote and received a very poor service from this removals company.
They packed the stuff for us and it turns out to be twice the estimate so they want more money for it when it's in their warehouse. Almost TWICE the amount!! We cannot dispute the cubic foorage because we are flying that day. We send the money very rel;uctantly and expect our goods to be delivered within 1 - 2 weeks. We were told it would take 7-10 days to ship to Lanzarote but with customs etc a bit longer. They hung onto our goods for many weeks then had the nerve to contact us to ask for paperwork. I had to tell them they needed spanish ID numbers! Despite frequent phone calls and emails our goods remianed in UK. They gave us the runaround when we called - despite it costing us a small fortune from abroad - saying the person we needed was out of the office and they would ring back. But of course they did not ring back. Emails were sent to little avail. Finally many weeks after we expected our stuff to arrive someone contacted us and asked for copies of our passports! However they ere still unable to tell us where our stuff was or when it would arrive! We finally learned it had not been sent as they were waiting for a container ship to be coming this way. What, no ships??
Our belongings finally arrived - FOUR months later!!! Only to be told that some stuff had been thrown away! The carriers having decided it wuoldn't get through customs! We had been advised by the packers that it would be ok to send but apparently they were wrong. One could only think they were encouraging us to send everything so that the size of the load was increased. Finally when I complain about the breakages - heavy items packed with fragile items and the missing goods I recieve rather rude emails explaing that we were over the cubic footage anyway!!!
PLEASE do not use this company if you value your sanity and your possessions!!
