Ripoff, unsolicited telephone results in a report delivery that will be billed without authority deceptive company Edinburgh UK

The company makes unsolicited contact and asks permission to send a sample report. It transpires that they reserve the right to bill if not returned within 21 days.
This company then enforces legal rights on a sum pitched at UK 345 which is deliberately more expensive to defend than to settle.

BEWARE the telephone call!!!
The only permission sought is to send the report. No obligation is explained at that time. No questions are put to employees about their authority to spend on reports. No purchase order is required.
This has happened to my company twice - it is that easy.
