Rip Off!!."Thank You Rip-off Report & everyone who has submitted reports here"

Today I received a letter from I.S. Trading. It came in a very professional looking envelope, neatly typed label, business ad franked etc. The letter said I could work from home mailing envelopes and I would receive 1.10 for each one!! All that was required of me was to send a cheque for 25 with the coupon and I would I receive a membership card which I had to show to the driver when he dropped off the parcel of items to be mailed and show it again when he picked them up.

The letter also stated that the driver would apparently "pay me in cash at the time of collection". Great! I thought. I work full time in the hospital Monday to Friday "If I do 200 letters every Saturday I would make about an extra 800 per month on top of my wages!! Fantastic!! "

I filled in the coupon and put it in an envelope with my cheque for 25. My partner arrived home and I showed him the letter. "you'll rip up that cheque straight away! " he said. "think about it", he said, "what company would pay I.S. Trading more than 1.10 for mailing one single letter, there's just no way". "these companies have secretary's and admin staff to do that you know".

When I though about it I knew he was right. I typed in the company name on the internet and hey presto I found the articles above. The only difference in the letter I received was the telephone number which is now 020 8888 3549.

Thanks to everyone who files a report and to rip off report.com for opening the eyes of innocent, gullible and vunerable people like myself... and for saving me 25 quid!!!
