Claire Mitchell: The Girls Mean Business & Running A Business In Heels

Scam, Fake

Claire Mitchell has run a number of small business scams. I was shocked to find out that she also ran a so-called online scam for London Hair Training or something ridiculous.

Anyway, the reason I began to research Claire Mitchell and her businesses "The Girls Mean Business" and "Running A Business In Heels" is because I am a small business owner and I saw a Facebook ad about her roadshows and her coaching website. Obviously, I was marginally interested but because I've been burned in the past, I began to research her and that's when her glass house began to fall down quite quickly.

When I first looked into this brand, I was interested and began asking around and of course, Googling. She is nothing more than a stay-at-home mom who has made a living off of sharing re-canned tips from other websites and collecting money from other stay-at-home moms by sharing what little she does know about pulling together a professional image.

It is very easy to be fooled into thinking that someone is a professional - all they need is a decent website, a newsletter and a Facebook page. This is pretty much all that Claire Mitchell actually has, and disturbingly, it seems that this is just the latest in her series of attempts to lure people into giving her their money.

Many will find even the smallest bit of information quite helpful, especially when it is assimilated all in one place as Claire has done, but it is a wrong for someone to dupe the public through deception when she, herself, could not get a job in the real world and this is what she has resorted to in terms of making money for herself.

She copies people including Marie Forleo, and stacks of others. When she says she has had two successful businesses, I went as far as to check this out with business records filed with Companies House and HMRC by Freedom of Information Request, and her turn over was very, very low. I mean you could sell Scentsy and do better than Claire Mitchell.

Please do not waste your hard-earned money on repackaged stuff that some girl has taken off of Google. Trust me, everything she tells you is locatable online – copy and paste some of her text into Google and you find a SLEW of posts nearly identical. This is a plague among businesses – so called coaches who rip people off £9.99 a month at a time. If you want a good coach, find one with public accounts that show real turn over AND actual profit. I’m sorry Claire, but you have not exactly been honest with the public.
