Diet Pills
Taking money from my credit card without my authorisation

Internet & Web / Online Scam

A promotion for a free trial of Acaiberry and Life Cleanse pills appeared on my internet account. I sent off for the free trial and paid £3.75 for each bottle of tablets to cover postage and packing.

When I received my credit card statement I noticed I had been charged £82.15 for a further supply of one set of pills, a couple of days later 2 bottles (1 of each type) arrived in the post.

I did not ask for these, nor did I authorise the company to debit my credit card for this amount.

As I received both lots of tablets in the post (after having received the free trial ones) I am expecting my credit card to be charged with a further £82.15.

I have today returned the unwanted, unasked for tablets and have obtained a Certificate of Posting from Royal Mail. I have also contacted my credit card company to tell them I have not authorised this transaction and they are taking this up with The Trading Planet for me.

I have tried to phone The Trading Planet but their telephone number is unobtainable.

This is a downright scam and needs investigation. I shall be taking this up with the Trading Standards Association.
