Adaptive Affinity / VP Rewards / Vista Print
Taking money without my consent

Internet & Web / Online Scam

After purchasing business cards from Vista Print in I allegedly signed up to a rewards programme run by one of the many company's owned by Adaptive Affinity. I am certain I did not sign up to this service and found out 3 years later they had been syphoning money from my back account, a total of over £400. The company in question is VP Rewards, who clearly state on the first page of their website that they are not associated with Vista Print. This in itself is a lie.

I have written to the company asking for either A) proof of my signing up to their service OR B) a full refund if no proof is available. They offered a partial refund and no proof. I am completely dissatisfied and want to warn others of this company.

According to trading standards, there is a loophole in the law and what they are doing potentially is not illegal. In addition, if I were to take them to court, there is a small risk that the judge may not rule in my favour as in their view, I should have noticed the amounts coming out of my account before now.

The thing that is most annoying is that this is happening to lots of people and nothing is being done about it. It seems that they offer a partial refund to shut people up and are blatantly robbing people (me included) of their money.
