Stole debit card details through fraudulent website Macclesfield

I wanted to buy some flip flops online and through google came across this website www.flipflopsdirect.co.uk

It looked legitimate, and when purchasing the flip flops, it went to the official barclays bank checkout system. (After i realised it was a fraud website i created a second fake account and checked it was indeed the real barclays website, which it was)

However, one way or another the owner has taken my debit card details and attempted to make several purchases on the internet. One i noticed this activity i cancelled my card and contacted the fraud department of my bank.

I used a WHOIS website to check the owner of the website, and it is registered to a UK Non Trading individual. I also checked with company house in the UK and there is no company registered with that name.

This is obviously a fraudulent website set up by an individual to try and spend other peoples money.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS AND SPREAD THE WORD!
