A scam on the elderly living in private sheltered housing

A con man, using so called medical knowledge bluffed his way into a sheltered housing complex by conning the manager that his company is medically recognised. The residents were invited to a meeting in the communal lounge where the con man gave his spiel and touted for business, saying that he was providing "made to measure" shoe insoles for various feet problems as well as electrical goods for relief of pain. He charged what is now known to be exorbitant prices, especially as it was found when the insoles were delivered that they were not "made to measure" but eight times more expensive as the same type bought locally. The electrical "vibrator" for the relief of pain was also at least eight times more than similar appliances. This firm should be driven out.
