Microsoft Office 2007 Upgrade
An Invoice was never received

Games & Gaming process

I upgraded MS Office 2007 SBE to the Pro version. Paid £101.80 which included Licence Lock Box and Back Up Disk. At time of order I tried to print out an invoice but it seemed mandatory to have a Hotmail account. I started to apply for this, but some of the questions asked at sign-up were in my opinion not relevant to acquiring an email account, so I abandoned the process. I have tried to get an invoice out of Microsoft, but they refer me around in a loop. Have now had correspondence with three sets of parties, and now back at square 1.

I'm now getting my card processor involved as the trader doesn't seem to understand the basics: my statutory rights as a consumer are affected if I don't know who the supplier is. HMRC would not recognize an order confirmation as a proper tax document, and a supplier failing to issue one on demand is an offence. If the Software Piracy people came a-knocking at my door how are they going to accept an Order Confirmation as evidence of purchase? I was under the impression that Credit Card companies outlawed third-party processing of credit card transactions. Finally they are negligent under Data Protection legislation for losing my order details.
