Mystery Woman ripoff scammed, England

The Skye Alexander scam has finally reached the UK and I have fallen for it hook line and sinker and am feeling like a complete idiot!

I responded to an ad in a tabloid newspaper, which was titled Mystery Woman wants to Help You. At the moment things for me are not going particularly well and in hindsight I was probably ready to believe anything. However the ad promised 2 talismans which I did recieve and a very exciting letter telling me how my life was going to change on 20.04.06, all I had do was send 23.95 to cover costs and if the predictions did not come true I could have a full refund.

Like a fool I sent my cheque which was cashed last week and have recieved nothing. This morning I recieved another letter in exactly the same format but this was from a Jean Mars, asking for 29.95 to tell me how my life will change on 05.05.06!!

The chances of me getting my money back are next to nothing so please anybody who is reading this who is thinking of sending off your hard earned money - please dont make the same mistakes that i have done. The people who are responsible for this scam need to be stopped before they make anyone elses life a misery.
