Ripoff, fraud

After placing a ad at roomates.com to rent out a room in my home I was contacted via the website e-mail box by a person calling herself Jenny Cole from the United Kingdom who was interested in renting the room and asked for information about it.

After a few e-mails exchanged she accepted my offer of the room and asked me to remove my ad which I did. She sent me $6000 via moneygram money order in which she asked me to deduct the rent I was asking for and then send the rest of the money to her shipper in London. I deposited the moneygrams in my bank account on 7/20 and then withdrew it and sent it to her shipper the next business day.

On Wednesday, 7/27/05 I recieved a call from my bank informing me that the moneygram money orders were counterfit/fraudulent and I owed my bank that money which is something I did not have.

Then on 7/28/05 she contacted me again asking to borrow $500 because she lost her fiance and she would pay me back when she arrived in Iowa. Needless to say I did not do so. Nor have I e-mailed her back demanding my money.
