I n January I rented a van off Tony at LC Van Rentals 0844 292 0872 for collection the following day. (Booking No. TD513441) I was asked to deposit 400.00 into the account of a Mr Thomas in order to hold the van which would be deducted off the total account. On the morning of Collection I was informed I would have to pay an excess of £1000.00 ontop of the total of the van hire before I could have the vehicle. I was not informed of this at the time of booking the vehicle. I refused and found another hire company and cancelled my booking with Tony at LC Van Hire. He informed me there would be a cancellation charge of 46.00 which I agreed to and he would refund me £354.00. immediately. I have spoken to Tony on several occassions and emailed him but to date have received nothing
