Monetbookers - Autotrader - Elizabeth Calfee -Richard Baggett Cheap Car for sale Scam! BEWARE!

I also almost fell for the same car scam on autotrader.
Luckily, before I was going to Western Union money to anyone, I researched Moneybooker and also googled the VIN number which brought me to a legit car dealer in Great Neck, NY who had the car (same car & VIN) on sale at autotraderDOTcom for $8900 not the scam artists price of $2000 (http://wwwDOTautotraderDOTcom/fyc/vdp.jsp? car_id=248466963). The scam artists, Elizabeth Calfee (elizabeth.calfe03AThotmailDOTcom), 147 Howard Street (which is really the address of a Fireplace Co!!), Glasgow, Scotland G1 4HF sent me a fake Moneybooker invoice which came from email address asking me to pay via Western Union and to send the $2000 to a 'MoneyBookers Verified Agent' who's supposedly a Richard Baggett, 211 Parade Street (This street does not even exist!!), Angus, Scotland, DD8 3AE. I also emailed the legit dealer in Great Neck, NY (Great Neck Car Buyers & Sellers Inc: who advised that the $2000 add is a scam.

Here is what you need to do when finding that 'too good to be true' car deal anywhere:
1. Google the VIN number. If it comes up for a car for sale somewhere else, email/call that seller & verify. Also google the sellers name (mine was nowhere to be found in the state she supposedly had lived in).
2. If you decide to make the deal anyways, google map the sellers address.
3. NEVER pay via Western Union or alike, IF you have to, at least go through Moneybookers even though I do not really want to suggest that either. Contact the seller & say that you would prefer to pay via PayPal and see what he/she responses to that.
4. Basically, if it seems too good to be true, it usually is. BEWARE, do your research and cover all your bases!
5. File an FBI report here: http://wwwDOTic3.gov/defaultDOTaspx. I did!

Only the buyer can execute an escrow payment - he only needs the email address of the seller to initiate the transaction as follows:
1) go to the Send Money tab;
2) select the escrow check box; and
3) follow the instructions.
