My father needed a new car and we saw the full page advert for stoneacre rochdale 0% credit lots of tempters to choose from none of which were offered at any time he wanted to spend 5000 pound the newspaper advert offered fiat punto s for4995 at a cost of 19.21 per week great just what he was looking for we travelled the 10 miles from our home found a car and the sales rep sat us down with drinks then went to see his manager who came back with a deal. The 4995 had had optional extras added at this point i told him we did not require anything else just the screen price but the weekly payment had risen to 33 pound a week i told him no way we had came because of the ad which we had with us and he then informed us that price was for a car that had done 80000 miles something not stated in the advert so at this point i said well if you can do that car for that price the same 4995 why couldnt we have the one with lower mileage for the same 19.21 per week he told me because they need to give people the incentive to buy a car for 4995 thats done 80000 miles plus would you? at that point he turned nasty and said he could get us one if we wanted and that the car we had looked at was not on 0%finance needless to say we left had this been made clear we would not have gone there this was not made clear at the start or in the newspaper ad if anybody is thinking of going to stoneacre then i wouldnt bother con merchants go elsewhere and save yourself a lot of money and spiel from a company that has no real care for its customer or there individual needs disgraceful.
