Food service times

On three occassions my partner and i have gone to the Turnpike pub. This has been in the last six weeks. Our first visit was on a tuesday evening. We arrived at 6.50pm and were told they had stopped serving food. The second visit was a Sunday evening and again we were turned away at 7pm. We thought we would try again tonight and we had invited friends from Halifax. It was 7.06pm. Apparently J W lees has changed their service times and now stop at 7pm. According to the web page for The Turnpike, The Huntsman and The Royal George the service of food finishes at 8pm.
The pub down the road from The Turnpike was packed solid, with people waiting on tables. many who had been turned away from The Turnpike. This is appauling. People travel to your pubs and then have to look for an alternative.
I worked for your company many years ago and never closed the kitchen early unless it snowed.
I wont be going again and as a chef who is always being asked where is good to eat i definatley wont be recommending The Turnpike again.
