To whom it may concern,

I Sukhwindwer Kaur Uppal was on Flight EK036/EK510 flying from Newcastle to India Delhi via Dubai on an Emirates flight on the 13th February. As I landed on the 14th of February in India Delhi, I was deeply distressed to find that my baggage tag number EK039173 was not on the flight. I waited for a long time until all luggage was placed on the carousel and I was devastated to hear from an airport employee that there was no more baggage to be collected.

I am deeply disappointed and upset that my holiday was ruined before I even got to my destination. I had no clothes, shoes, underwear and had to buy all these items again. I also had several pounds worth of wedding gifts for my nieces wedding and family.

This was the first holiday I have had in years and the first time I have flown with Emirates. I was looking forward to my sister’s child’s wedding, however it turned out to be a nightmare as all I did for the whole stay whilst I was in India was constantly contact Emirates and the Airport at Delhi to no avail and to a considerable cost to myself. The staff were extremely unhelpful and rude and said that they could not help me, therefore leaving me without baggage for the entire stay in India. I have been home for almost 2 weeks now and still no baggage. I have never had this distressing experience before and hope to never encounter such negligence and incompetence ever again.

I would be grateful if you could resolve this matter as soon as possible and w ith some reasonable compensation attached for the inconvenience I have had to endure. My holiday was ruined due to the airlines incompetence and unprofessionalism.
