Having been good tenants at a flat we left it the best way we could, leaving a few bits and pieces, however the place was falling apart at the seams (wallpaper falling down, bricks and morter crumbling). The rental agents didn't explicitly explain that from out deposit a large fee would be deducted and then charged us and exorbitant fee for cleaning. They refused to negotiate and I would have even gone back to clean it. My girlfiriend went to discuss this and the women (eastern european) get extremely aggressive and rude.
