This company gave me a Quote on the phone for £600 for the procedure with £100 up front.
when i arrived they took my dog into the back then came out and said they need more than £100 (which was agreed) and the procedure could cost upto £4000-£5000 (again different than they said) i explained i was unable to pay this and they then brought me a form out for having my dog put down this again isnt something i agreed to, but they persuaded me the dog wouldn't make it either way (but they seemed happy for me to agree to paying £5000 for the procedure). and i very reluctantly agreed i was told the price would be around £50 for this, after them struggling to do the procedure (put the animal down) they took the dog away and i went to the front desk... i wasnt told anything of price at this point they just wanted my details for payment and also mentioned debt collectors (again before i was told any costs).
I was then presented with a bill for £182 for the procedure which i didnt agree with (more talk of debt collectors) and by this point i had already payed £100 as previously agreed as a deposit as such so they knocked that off the lady went upstairs to get some details and came down with another bill this time for £260 (additional to the £182) which was for a Scan, i wasnt asked if i wanted the scan i wasnt made aware of the price of this and i wasnt told about the scan until afterwards... i eventually left having departed with my £100 and they wouldn't allow me to leave without taking a photo copy of my ~ID again something i didnt agree to. and said they would be in contact tomorrow. a week has now passed i have heard nothing from them, except for the letter i received from their debt collectors.
This company cares more about money than the care of your animal they will twist their words to try and get more money from you and unless you show them money they will refuse to help your pet.
